The Great Debate

16 Oct

My entire family is watching/listening to the debate.

I’m avoiding it.

I’m sick and tired of this election; I’m not happy with my options and frankly terrified of the results either way.

Sometimes I wish I didn’t care so much.

And I’m still all annoyed that 3 of my friends still haven’t managed to register, or have any interest in doing so.

Don’t worry, this life is just a practice run anyway.

THis election is making me sick. I’m literally all worked up when I hear about all the stupid people.

I also have freinds who are not registered and it bothers me that they won’t go 5 minutes out of their way and register!

The world is full of dumb people. And unfortunately its going to remain that way.
Did you know that more people vote for American Idol more than they do President?

but I did watch the debate, and I’m happy to say that McCain kicked Obama’s rearend. Though I don’t thikn that matters, because the dumb people all think Obama won…

On a positive note, whoever wins can’t possibly be any worse than Bush!

I registered to vote the day I turned 18. I seriously don’t get anyone who doesn’t vote…you give up whatever little voice you had, and relenquish your right to complain.

and offthederech: for all his flaws, I prefer Bush to Clinton, and I think Al Gore and John Kerry would have been a lot worse than the mess we’re in now.

    Amen, sister!
So, uh, you’re a Republican too?
I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to out you. Just being one nowadays seems to be sufficient grounds for pistols at dawn.

I think McCain did kick Obama but many people have given up the thought that McCain can win.

Anita: “Did you know that more people vote for American Idol more than they do President?”

    That is funny!

My brother made me register first thing when I turned 18.

But I remember my first semester at college they were asking people to register to vote, and someone came over and asked me if I voted yet, and I couldn’t figure out if it was for the real elections or some college elections. So I told him I can’t. I wasn’t 18 yet. So if it was real elections then I couldn’t register, if it was some college ones then I didn’t loose out on anything, so it was all ok.

I watched part of the VP debate, but didn’t get to finish it. Didn’t watch the presidential debate yet.
