Violin String

08 Oct
I have on my table a violin string.
It is free.
But it is not free to do what a violin string is supposed to do
 – to produce music.
So I take it,
fix it in my violin
and tighten it until it is taut.
Only then is it free to be a violin string.
Sir Rabindranath Tagore

    That’s a great poem!

Interesting how it mentions about pulling it taught, that can be compared to the times when we are molded and it seems like we’re being treated harsh when really it’s to help mold us to the way we can be the best we can be.
